Happy Halloween, Already!

Please excuse my lack of posts for last week - I must admit that I too am still adjusting to the 4-day week schedule.

Here are the activities we'll be completing in class (and students at home) for the week of October 26-29.


Tuesday October 26th - Assignments Due - Tessellations Lab and Minerals Vocabulary Activity #1
Mineral Resources Computer Lab - completed in class
Please bring a glass jar and 2 cups of sugar for Wednesday
Food coloring and flavoring (e.g. lemon extract) are optional.

Wednesday October 27th
In-class activities including
Crystal Candy making


Thursday October 28th
In class activities - Introduction to Minerals notebook
Completion of Giant Crystal Cave video



Friday October 29th
In Class - Observations
I notice... I wonder... about Minerals
Homework: Properties of Minerals Review Worksheet Due Tuesday.
